Varavara Rao is an Indian lobbyist, artist, instructor, and essayist from Telangana, India. Rao has been in prison since his capture in the Bhima Koregaon case in June 2018. Last month, Rao’s better half Pendyala Hemalatha had moved the Supreme Court for his delivery.
