OnePlus has made great progress and make big promises about its Android updates, but it might need a little more work on the quality of these updates. Although fortunately, the norm, OnePlus has been known for pushing updates with rather notable problems, some of them worse than others. It is the unfortunate experience that the owners of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 and OnePlus would have after the Android 11 and Oxygenos upgrading brought not only new features, but also bogues that remain excessive more a month later.
OnePlus has had rather problematic upgrades, but it seems that the Oxygenos 11 update, which also brings Android 11, takes the cake. There have been reports on the issues of the last update on many OnePlus phones, including the North OnePlus, but the owners of the company’s 2019 models are those that seem to have got the end of the stick.
A growing number of reddit complaints as well as OnePlus forums reveal the rather unfavorable situation regarding the update. These complaints are everywhere on the square, a larger drum drain with abandoned frames that may affect mobile games. There are also worrying relationships of overheating, at least more than usual, which could raise red flags in safety.
Given the wide range of problems, there is no known source of the problem other than the Android 11 update. Of course, other telephones on Android 11 do not report such problems and users of OnePlus are quick to blame oxygenos 11 as the real guilty. It does not help that this version of OnePlus’s custom Android experience is not exactly than popular because of heavy changes that society has done.
OnePlus has already pushed back a minor update of these phones, but it does not seem to have addressed user satisfaction issues. Unfortunately, the only way to get around the problem is to retrograde to Android 10, which is also poorly practical for many OldEplus 7 and 7T owners.
