Qualcomm, as always, focuses heavily on the high-end market and high-end where it is able to do most of the benefits of each unit sold. It also has fleas that meet lower levels, but it is also the case where mediak processors are better known. This applies even to young markets of 5G where the MEDIATEK sizing brand attempts to establish a foot foot before Qualcomm can not be a claim. Its last attempt is the dimension 900 5g that eliminates the support of dual 5g as one of its special characteristics.
The 5G phones grow in number but are still far from meeting the needs of all. In addition to the availability of 5G networks themselves, some people have greeted their phones supporting SIM double card cards. The dimensioning of MediaTek 900 5G certainly claims to support this and simply requires a phone to implement it.
The dimension 900 5g is about an upgrade to the dimension of last year 800 5G. The largest upgrade is the step to a new 6nm process that brings the usual promises of better performance and energy efficiency. It also mixes a quick combination with two Cortex-A78 kernel performance at 2.4 GHz and six effective Cortex-A55 cores operating at 2 GHz.
The chip helps support phones with FHD + screens running at 120Hz but not higher. It can also support a single 108 MP camera with 4K 30 FPS video recording. The usual high-end components such as LPDDR5 and FAST UFS 3.1 storage are also on the list of specifications.
What the MediaTek announcement does not say is which phones carry its new mid-range 5G mid-range processor. That said, it teases that phones using the 900 5G dimension will arrive in the second quarter of this year, which left a month and a half before it is over.
