The entire technology world has been plunged into another crisis while seeing in the Pandemic of Covid-19. A global shortage of semiconductor components, especially microchips and processors, are carmakers fuel companies, of course, manufacturers of consumer electronic products. Smartphone envelopes seem to take things to the stride, but the shortage can eventually have caught up Samsung whose new mid-term phones are now delayed because of that.
Samsung announced the A72 galaxy and two versions of Galaxy A52, including a 5G model, just last March. The latter, in particular, is strongly marketed in the United States where the phone is built to be one of the most affordable 5G options. Both phones are supposed to become available for the purchase of last month, but it has never happened.
A report from South Korea ELEC reveals the reason for this delay. Apparently, Samsung has had difficulty getting a plug of APS processors or applications, a.k.a. Smartphone processors that we often have on specifications for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. It would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g and the Snapdragon 5g-capable Snapdragon 750g, which both belonged in short quantity.
Ironically, the shortage is also also due to Samsung’s major problem earlier this year. The strong winter storm in the United States a few months back from Samsung forced to close its Austin plant, Texas, that chip manufacturers. By coincidence, Samsung is one of the manufacturers of these ap of snapdragon impacted.
Samsung is not the only one affected by a shortage in Snapdragon 720g and 750g chips, because Xiaomi also depends on these mid-range chips for its mid-note and redmi lines. There is still no estimate on when shipments from Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G will actually start, but it may be an indicator that future phones will also begin to be affected by this global problem .
