Early Life & Biography
Ross was born and raised on the Beach of Daytona, Florida in the US, on October 29, 1942. Besides his parents, Jack and Ollie Ross, he had a stepbrister called Jim. Ross’s father was a carpenter and after Ross left school, he helped Jack in the carpentry business where he lost part of his finger in an accident with a table.
He is a big fan of animals, and Pet Squirrel Peapod is a guest star of several episodes of TV shows. In childhood, his favorite animals were a snake, crocodile, and armadillo.
Personal life
Bob married three times in his life, first in 1965 with Vivian Ridge. They have a son named Steven. He also had a gift to paint, and we had the opportunity to see it in several episodes of TV shows, along with his father. After divorce with Vivian in 1977, Bob married Jane in the same year. In 1992 Jane Ross died of cancer and after three years he married Lynda Brown. This marriage only lasted for two months and then the famous painter died. The cause of death is lymphoma.

When he was 18 years old, he joined the US Air Force as a medical technician and for 20 years as a servant he became the first sergeant. In his spare time, he often painted, and sold his art. When he attended the painting classes, he soon realized that the classes did not teach students to paint.
He wanted to do something about it because he was enthusiastic about Alexander TV bills showing the magic of oil painting. Bill taught the painting style of Alla Prima and Bob mastered this style in his painting. He gets a large amount of money selling these paintings. Immediately he became part of the BILL`s Alexander painting company.
He was given advice that he could make his own company with funds from Annette Kowalski, his wife and himself. When he gets fame with TV shows everything is paid. TV shows the piracy of the pain was aired on the PBS channel from 1983 to 1994.
His fate, fame, and success came from there, and then he sold the painting, a tutorial book at full speed. He even made a class technique of painting specific Bob Ross methods. PBS station now is the owner of all the paintings left after Bob’s death.
