Pinterest will test the live events with three days of creator workshops

As of May 24, Pinterest will host a three-day online event that will see the content of the Livestream company from some of its most popular content creators. Pinterest shared the details of how the test, one of his first public livestreaming attempts will take place with TechCrunch.

The only way to watch the videos will be via the application of Pinterest – although you can see an overview of each session on the company’s website. In total, there will be 21 workshops covering topics like how to reuse a pair of leggings and do the perfect guacamole bowl. As someone looking at the streams, you will have the chance to comment on what is happening and chatting with the person who welcomes the sessions. They will be moderators by hand so that everyone remains civil. But what you will not find, it’s a shopping component attached to the experience.

Technically, it is not the first disadvantage of Pinterest in LiveSteaming. Last year, the company tested a feature called classroom communities that allowed people to register for online zoom classes via its application. However, outside the registration mechanism, the Pinterest application was mainly intended to help those who welcome classes to organize materials for their students. Pinterest did not say TechCrunch how he sees Livestreams on his future projects. The company is relatively late in format, with other platforms that have had livestreaming components for years.
