Twitter has just facilitated search through old DMS on Android

If you have been on Twitter for a while, especially if you use it for networking, you have probably raised a lot of direct messages. Searching in these messages for specific content has never been easy, but Twitter has taken steps to solve the problem of last year. Now it’s back with the latest evolution of this effort, which has finally arrived on Android.

Back in August, Twitter announced that it would start testing a DM search function on Desktop and iOS, allowing users to search for direct messages for the specific content they were looking for.

However, there were limitations to this characteristic, including it was limited to its most recent DMS – and it is not particularly useful considering that if you are looking for something, it’s probably an older message .

In today’s update, Twitter announced that he had brought the same functionality to Android and expanded to cover older messages in addition to the latest. We do not know if the desktop and iOS versions of this feature also support the search for new direct messages.

The company notes that it works on another update of the functionality that will allow users to search in the content of the DMS, which makes it more useful at these times when you can remember the conversation or specific subject, But not who you discussed. This update is scheduled for release later this year.
